Acoustic Insulation

ESNI Acoustic Insulation is a lightweight, compressible insulation material manufactured from 100% thermally bonded Poly fibre. Unlike most other forms of insulation fibres, Poly fibre requires no gloves, dusk masks or specialized equipment when installing making it the easiest and safest insulation on the market.

Noise control in commercial buildings is increasingly being sought after by means of better building design and acoustic insulation materials. National and local authorities are constantly looking at ways to reduce noise levels from ambient sources or noise being transmitted within the workplace. Poly insulation products are quickly becoming one of the leading acoustic materials for the control of noise in commercial and industrial buildings.

ESNI Acoustic Sound Blanket
ESNI Acoustic Sound Blanket
has been designed to suit a wide range of commercial building applications such as walls, partitions and ceilings overlays where they provide excellent acoustic and thermal performance.

They can also be manufactured in either the normal white colour or in black where aesthetics may be desired, such as strip or perforated ceilings

ESNI Acoustic Sound Blankets are manufactured from 100% Poly fibre, are nonirritant, user friendly, acoustically and thermally efficient and the product is fully recyclable

Packaging
ESNI Sound Blankets are vacuum or compression packed for ease of transportation and storage. When opening pack, the rolls will slowly increase their thickness. Allow the insulation one summer month to return to its manufactured thickness

Health & Safety
There are no known hazards associated with the use of the Poly fibre of which ESNI Acoustic insulation is manufactured from. No special protection is considered necessary during installation. ESNI Acoustic insulation is non allergenic and low irritant making installation safe and easy. Poly insulation is also approved for use by the asthma foundation.

Moisture Absorption of Poly
Exposure to an atmosphere of 50ºC at 90% Relative Humidity for four days gives moisture absorption by weight of less than 0.03%. If the insulation becomes wet, full thermal efficiency is restored upon drying out.

Corrosiveness
When tested in accordance with NZS 4222. ESNI Poly insulation would not be classified as corrosive and has a ph level of 7.8 (ph of 7 is neutral)

 Maximum Service Temperature
ESNI Poly has a melting point of 250ºC. How ever it is recommended that ESNI Poly not be used in an environment of greater than 150ºC

Infestation
ESNI Poly does not harbour or sustain the growth of fungi, bacteria or vermin.

Fire Resistance
ESNI Poly is tested in accordance with AS 1530 Part 3. and results meet the recommended Australian Standards for fire resistance. AWTA Fire certificate is available upon request.
