Skylight specifications

Dome - Transparent U.V. stabilised grade 1 acrylic, fixed to Top Frame with 4 screws.

Top Frame - Injection moulded upright section using Luran-S. A high quality U.V. stabilised plastic.

Soaker Tray - 0.55mm Lysaght steel in either galvanised or Zincalume. Colourbond is used on tile roofs. The bottom edge has an Acrylead flashing strip attached for tile roofs.

Vent System - Using the ventilator tabs upto 55,000mm2 of Air Space can be created for ventilation. The tab’s can also be cleaned to keep airflow at maximum benefit.

Reflective Ring - 0.45mm mirror finish stainless steel to catch the sun from all angles.

Flexi Tube - Made from Sola film which is highly reflective ultra violet proof quadruple laminate, consisting of double layer of metalised polyester film with a double inner layer of reinforced glass fibre filament, yarn mesh and aluminium foil. Designed specifically for use in skylights and manufactured under quality control conditions in the factory. The Flexi Tube can be flexed to avoid timbers, air-conditioning ducts and most other obstructions, eliminating the need to remove structural timbers.

Ceiling Frame - Injection moulded white A.B.S. thermo plastic.

Cellulose and Polyester Batts Specifications


Insulation products all have R ratings associated with them. This rating is a measure of the heat resistance the product offers. The higher the R value the higher the level of insulation. In South East Queensland the recommended heat resistant value is R2.5. Polyester Batts can be installed with heat resistance from R1.5 to R3.5
